This is the very first look I did using this palette. I really don't think I can say enough about it, the colors are just so wonderful. I really enjoyed this look too so I thought, why not film it?
Oh wow, a tutorial for the first time in I don't even remember how long. It's been awhile though so I'm still trying figure out what I'm doing again. Hope this is at least somewhat helpful and that someone enjoys it. That will make this a victory!
Like I said, it's been a really long time since I've done a tutorial... Not even just tutorials I guess, it's been a long time since I've done bright, colorful, fun makeup looks in general. This may not be the best but it's the first bright look I've done in a while that I've been pleased with. I got a new camera last year and I'm STILL trying to figure out how to use it and trying to figure out lighting is such a pain so apologies now for lackluster quality and what not. I'm learning though and hopefully in time I'll figure out what I'm doing. Okay, no more excuses, time for pictures!
Now, the first picture at the top was done using the Creative Me #1 Palette from Coastal Scents. This time using the AlieNEON palette, I feel the look came out a lot more vibrant and brighter which I liked a lot. I hope you guys like it too!
*** NOTE: This review does not include Love Buzz at this time. It was "Out of Stock" when I purchased these but it currently in back in stock, I ordered mine already so when that gets here I will update this review to include it.*** Let me start off by saying this, "I purchased these with my own money. I am only influenced by my experience with said purchased product." Now with that being said, let us start the review, shall we?
I've really been loving the whole "wide eye" looks lately and have been doing it kind of often and have taken it to an extreme (rather than just putting the white on the waterline, putting it on the whole lower lash line!). I don't know, I really like it a lot haha. I actually have another tutorial coming up that was inspired from this look and No Doubt's "NEW" video so I'm excited :D
This look was also requested by bluetigressmoon @ youtube. I did the look awhile ago (as well as the Ruby Gloom look) and filmed tutorials and now looking back, I really just wasn't pleased with them so I redid them and I'm still not as happy with this one as I wish I was. There's just something about it, I can't figure it out. In person, sure it looked fine and I did get compliments on it but in the video it just looks a little bleh to me :X What are your thoughts? Did I do something wrong? Should I of done something a little different? Let me know :D
I filmed this look 3 times haha This is the best out of the 3 which is kind of sad since I'm feeling very sick in the video (bad reaction to new medicine :X) so I hope you all enjoy it anyway :)
Ever since I got my first Sugarpill Palette, I've been a wee bit obsessed with it haha. I ordered two more! They got here today but sadly, I ordered the Sweet Heart and Cold Heart palettes (since I already got the Burning Heart one)and when I opened the oh so cute box, it was the Cold Heart and Burning Heart palettes :( I thought I messed up and wanted to kick myself but I check the reciept and it said I ordered the correct ones so I e-mailed Amy (shrinkle), I have no doubt what so ever she'll make this right haha She's so delightful so everything is good.
Also! Alot of people were not happy that I wasn't telling the specifics about the brushes I was using (they're all Coastal Scents Brushes! They lack numbers :( ) so my boyfriend bought me Sigma Brushes for Valentines day so I hope this is more helpful for everyone!
Sorry about the lack of pictures :( I hope you enjoy the look though, also, you don't HAVE to use MAC products, you can use whatever you have!!! I just thought it would be nice to do something with products that will always be available, plus I had gotten a couple requests to do a look with Electric Eel.
So, my camera likes to be difficult for me hense a lot of fuzzyness and also not really showing the amazing pigmentation of these colors. It's a shame, it really is!!! I'm hoping I can get a better one soon, this one is just ridiculous. (If you're wondering, it's a Sony Webbie HD, it's good for the price I guess *$100ish*)
As for High Voltage cosmetics, Jasmine has made some sincerely incredible eye shadows! They last all day, very pigmented, a lot of variety, and they all have such cute names!!! The shipping was amazingly fast, I've had no problem with her what so ever and I plan to continue to do business with her!
