"Wearable" Toxi Tutorial

So this is a requested look, I was asked to do a "wearable" look so taadaa! This is a look I do when I'm kind of in a rush and going no where special so I hope this was helpful. I was really debating even doing this look since it's so, blah! I do want to show the world I can do more natural/toned down looks since I do lose some business on my end since people think if they hire me they're going to end up looking like a "clown" haha so yes! Not too bright and bold for those still a little afraid of trying out colorful and fun looks! I still highly recommend trying to do the more dramatic even if you aren't planning to leave the house, practice makes perfect!!!

*Also, please excuse my obviously puffy eyes! The weather is getting warmer and the cursed allergies are acting up!!*

Eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Coastal Scents 28 Neutral Palette (HURRY!!! 15% Off this Palette at Coastalscents.com!!! Sale Ends 4/5/10!)
MAC's Gesso
True Black Gel Liner
Maybelline Stiletto Waterproof Mascara

Wow, not many products at all haha On to the pictures!

  1. Gorgeous!! I know how you feel, I LOVE doing dramatic makeup, bright colors, smokey dark looks, I just love having fun with Makeup! But as a Makeup Artist, I've had people think I would do that same makeup on them. I can do neutrals!!! They just don't do it for me lol

  3. Crysstyna- exactly! I enjoy bolder looks on myself but I have the ability to tone it down for those not interested in those sorts of looks haha.

Mindfulmama-thank you :D it's a poor excuse but I get too lazy to do whole face shots. I only really do them once in a while.

  4. Your looks are gorgeous! I love how creative you are with colors. So many people are afraid of brights.
I would really love to know what kind of brushes you use. Adding to my [small] collection is really hard! There's so many!

  5. nebbish- Thank you so much :D I'm hoping the people that see my videos at the very least would be inspired to try and be a little bolder/brighter with their looks. It's just makeup, have fun with it you know? haha

The brushes I use are mainly from Coastal Scents (the pink handled ones) and Sigma. I have very few MAC brushes, granted I think they're good I just don't want to spend the money on them but I do think they are a very good investment, I plan to get a few more haha. I also use a couple brushes I use to use for my watercolor paintings :D
